Our Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in the Eastern Monroe Public Library (“Library”); to promote increased knowledge and understanding of the functions, resources, services and needs of the Library; to aid in the development of programs for the extension and improvement of Library resources and services; to stimulate increased financial support, public and private, for the Library and its board of directors; to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community; and to receive, administer and distribute funds in connection with any activities related to the above purposes.
